We are hiring a Teacher 2 for the Riley Early Learning Center in our Infant/Toddler classroom. The Teacher 2 is part of a teaching team that plans experiences to meet young children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development, and engages with families in meeting both their children’s and family’s needs. Other responsibilities include monitoring children’s progress, completing paperwork and reports, and maintaining records and data on individual children. Requirements

A Child Development Associates or comparable credential with an infant and toddler concentration.

Other Requirements: Must have experience in an early childhood setting; excellent verbal and written communication skills; considerable stamina to regularly lift, bend, carry and perform other high energy activities; a valid driver’s license; telephone; computer/word-processing skills, preferably Microsoft Office; ability to function autonomously and as part of a team. Pre-employment physical, TB screening, SBI, DMV, DHHS, Maine Sex Offender Registry and federal debarment background checks must be completed upon offer of hire and as a condition of employment.
