Position Maintenance Technician Category Maintenance Exempt/Non-Exempt Non-Exempt Full-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Shift Various Shifts Description
Summary:

From a solid foundation of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills, this position requires the ability to actively and effectively troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues across a wide range of extrusion, pressing, packaging, and filling machines. This position also requires employees to work as a team with the rest of the maintenance department to complete efficient production line setups, reduce downtime, and complete regular preventative maintenance on machines. Living personal values that align with Twincraft is required and most critical-such as intentional, practical, and dynamic action while honoring the value of people along with willingness to learn and become an expert.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Continuously troubleshoot, maintain, and repair a wide variety of cross-functional equipment.
  • Optimize financial performance through efficient setups, downtime reduction, and preventative maintenance.
  • Personally continue cross-training.
  • Work collaboratively and be willing to share knowledge and experience across numerous departments, including but not limited to, Research & Development, Applications Engineering, Facilities, and most regularly, Production.
  • Identify potential improvements and come up with creative ways to execute them while striving to improve production efficiencies and overall financial performance.
  • Empower associates directly involved in each function, such as production line personnel.
  • Be on call throughout each 10 hour shift, and be willing to be flexible and move from one project to the next.
  • Employ an objective, agile approach to every scenario to accommodate unique and dynamic circumstances resulting in iterative improvement.
  • Support and help implement continuous process improvements.
  • Support and adhere to Twincraft's values and credo.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Locations Available: Winooski & Essex

Shift Times Available: 1st Shift (5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Thursday) & 2nd Shift (3:15 pm - 1:45 am Monday-Thursday)
Position Requirements
Education and Experience:

Proficiency with mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic skills is preferred.

Required Skills:

  • Efficient and effective communication and relational skills.
  • Strong math, writing, and reading aptitude.
  • Understand mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic principles.
  • Familiar with diagrams and prints.

Additional Skills Desired:

  • Knowledge of Industrial Electronics/Motors/Drives/Small Transformers is strongly preferred.
