The Town of Brunswick Public Works Department seeks exceptional candidates for the position of Truck Driver/Operator.

This position operates all vehicles and light/heavy equipment used in carrying out the department’s responsibilities, including the repair, maintenance, and construction of roads and stormwater systems, and plowing and treating roads and sidewalks.

This is a union position (Teamsters Union Local #340) that consists of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday. Significant overtime may be required during winter snow removal operations.

The preferred candidate will have at least one year of experience in a similar work environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Class B commercial driver’s license, or the ability to obtain one within one (1) year of hire, is required.

The starting hourly pay rate is $18.2070 to $19.7078, depending on experience and qualifications.
