Job Code: 10560 Location: Saco 04072 Department: Other FT/PT Status: Full Time Summary: Sweetser is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to acts as the single point of contact for assigned programs on all Human Resources matters. This position has a focus on complex employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Act as the single point of contact for management and employees within assigned Sweetser program(s) concerning human resources policies, procedures and practices.

  • Handle employee relations, counseling and coaching for assigned programs.

  • Act as liaison regarding benefits, recruiting, compensation issues, leaves, safety and workers compensation matters for assigned program.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of human resources policies and procedures.

  • Create, review and update job descriptions as needed.

  • Routinely meet individually with leadership within assigned program to review activities and priorities and identify human resource needs.

  • Provide training and mentoring to supervisors and managers on human resource practices.

  • Follow Suicide safer care practices.

    EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field required.

    CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Maintain a valid state driver's license during period of employment.

  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.

    EXPERIENCE and OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Human Resources Generalist experience.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Able to work well independently.
