Sandcastle Clinical & Educational Services strives to provide a full range of clinical services within a child's educational setting, inclusive of all skill levels and abilities. Educators, clinicians, staff and families work together to nurture and support children so that they may thrive throughout school and beyond. Sandcastle is an accredited provider through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).

Sandcastle is currently in search of a Clinical or School Psychologist who is licensed in the state of Maine or eligible for state licensure. Sandcastle specializes in providing inclusive preschool education and early intervention in a naturalistic treatment setting to children 18 months to 5 years of age. Outpatient services also include mental health (psychological evaluations, psychotherapy), audiology, speech therapy and occupational therapy for children and adolescents.

As a contributing member to the clinical care team, the Psychologist will work closely with teachers, Audiologists, Speech-Language Pathologists and Occupational therapists to help support students in our integrated classrooms as well as children and adolescents in our outpatient clinical setting. There is also an opportunity to work with schools in our community. A staff psychologist is responsible for completion of psychological evaluations and psychotherapy with children and adolescents. Experience working with children is preferred. A PsyD or PhD as well as a passion for developing young minds is required.
