General Purpose of Job: Perform duties in the vinegar plant to meet required shipping needs for production and customer orders. Offload incoming raw material tankers needed for these required production needs. Will Train

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operating the vinegar plant acetators in the most efficient manner possible.
• Daily testing of the acetators, morning and afternoon checks, discharges etc.
• Making up feed tankers to supply the acetators.
• Testing of all incoming tankers of cider stock, wine stock, 190 proof SDA #29 alcohol, etc.
• Cleaning ultra filters when needed.
• Organizing and performing inventories on the tank farm.
• Maintaining the cooling towers (ie. chlorine levels {including stock treatments}, controlling growth buildup.)
• Maintaining the alkographs.
• HACCP duties as assigned.
• Any other duties that may be assigned by a supervisor.
• Frequent climbing of stairs is required along with lifting (At least 50 Lbs) and moving of various materials required.
• Responsible for food safety and quality
• Position covered by barrel house personnel
• Work requires a rotating week-end schedule.
• Responsible for immediately identifying non-conforming product or equipment to their supervisor at any step of the operation.

Education/ Experience:

Candidate must have some college (preferred) or high school degree.
