PetScripts Pharmacy is an independently owned veterinary compounding pharmacy that has been in business for over 18 years. We work exclusively with veterinarians and pet owners to make treating and giving medications to pets easier. PetScripts is a small, but very fast paced and challenging nontraditional pharmacy. This is a unique opportunity.

This position is for an enthusiastic individual who wants to be a part of an exciting niche business. We are looking for a person that wants to learn all aspects of the operation of PetScripts compounding lab. The job will focus on compounding technician lab work but will also include administrative, customer service, and other task associated with the business. A candidate for this position will be primarily be trained to work in the compounding lab. This includes: all aspects of compounding prescription medications. Along with compounding a candidate will learn many other tasks associated with the day to day operations of PetScripts Pharmacy.

Excellent math skills and computer skills are a must. Attention to detail is essential for a candidate along with a very strong work ethic. Candidate must be able to juggle multiple tasks with extreme accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a small group of people and be able to interact on many levels with a variety of customers. The candidate must have the ability to independently solve problems. Applicant must be very comfortable working on the computer. Having experience in the medical or veterinary field, and pharmacy experience are very helpful.

We offer competitive wages. Schedule will be Monday thru Friday 40-44 hours per week with one half day every third Saturday. No work on major holidays. Two weeks paid vacation and paid major holidays after a 6-month probation period. No medical coverage.
