Penquis, a social services agency serving Penobscot, Piscataquis and Knox counties for over 50 years, is seeking candidates for Direct Care Professionals within the Charlotte White Support Services department in the Bangor and Dover-Foxcroft area, Shifts include:

Full time benefits eligible position – 36-40 hrs/wk (day, evenings, overnights and weekends available)

Part time benefits eligible position – 24-35 hrs/wk (day, evenings, overnights and weekends available)

Per Diem available on all shifts

Minimum qualifications: HS Diploma or Equivalent, clean driver’s license and insured reliable transportation. Starting pay for this position is $12.30/hour and an excellent benefits package is provided. Must be comfortable using a computer to document in electronic medical records system, and utilize e-mail and internet. Penquis offers paid training – credentials that are State and nationally certified.

Upon hire and periodically thereafter, must have background check results that are satisfactory to Penquis and indicate no previous or current record of involvement with child abuse, neglect or exploitation and no disqualifying criminal record or motor vehicle record as outlined in current contract provisions.
