The Program Coordinator for Outreach oversees, monitors, supervises and participates in the day‑to‑day activities of the Outreach Program and the Drop-In Center for adolescents who are homeless or at high risk of becoming homeless or experiencing trafficking and exploitation. Supervises Youthworkers and relief staff. Provides crisis intervention, information and referral, advocacy, and support services for youth. Maintains an atmosphere of trust, respect and equality with youth in all service provision.

Primary Duties:

· Oversees daily operations and staffing of the Drop-In Center.

· Oversees intakes, eligibility, and recordkeeping for youth in the Drop-In Center.

· Provides consultation and assistance in crisis interventions.

· Assists in collecting and analyzing relevant data for purposes of monitoring the program's quality and effectiveness.

· Develops a good working knowledge of the adolescent service system, public assistance programs, and health/mental health services in the community.

· Supervises and evaluates the job performance of Youth Workers and relief workers.

· Maintains a caseload of case management clients and covers staff absences.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience. Bachelor's degree in human services related field or Bachelor's degree in a non-human services related field with 2 years of human services experience in order to qualify as a (TCM) Targeted case manager. Experience conducting TCM is preferred.
