NFI North is seeking an Administrative Assistant for our new program in Lewiston, Maine. This program is a residential treatment program providing transitional services to seven homeless young adults within the Lewiston Area. The is a new project we are developing which will increase our ability to provide transitional housing as well as other essential services necessary for young adults who are participants of mental health services. This transitional housing option will be designed to provide residential housing as well as the support necessary to insure successful independent living for young adults who are participants of mental health services. The supportive services found within the program will include Daily Living Support Services, Skills Development Services and Community Integration Services
This will be a start-up project meaning we will be establishing the culture, shaping the scope of work and developing a strong competent team to help support this important endeavor.
This position will work in collaboration with staff and management team to provide quality clerical support as well as function as receptionist, filing, maintaining and organizing documentation, perform billing, record keeping and overall office management. Candidates must be detail oriented, collaborate well with outside resources and be a skilled in typing and have a strong skill and knowledge of PC computers and office suites.
Flexibility, high energy, creativity, computer proficiency and good communication skills are required. Ability to facilitate a positive working and living atmosphere is essential.
