Millinocket Regional Hospital, a Critical Access Hospital nestled at the base of Mt. Katahdin and Baxter State Park in central Maine, has an opening for a Full Time** Medical Assistant**.

Qualifications: Graduate of accredited Medical Assistant program or Allied Health Professional. Certified Medical Assistant preferred or Maine Licensed (Allied Health). Medical Office experience preferred and computer experience a plus. Organized self-starter with great attention to detail. Must be able to work as a team player and have the ability to multi-task with great emphasis on patient care.

Main Function: Duties include assisting physician, PA or FNP with patient examinations and procedures, giving injections, phone triage, checking in patients, obtaining vital signs and patient histories, and scheduling tests and appointments.

Monday-Friday, 36-40 Hours per Week. Primarily 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Schedule may vary.
