Mid Coast Parkview Health, a 93 bed Joint Commission certified community hospital system located in Brunswick, ME is seeking a Running Start Clinical Exercise Physiologist to join our Community Health and Wellness team. 

Job Summary

Responsible for the exercise and health coordination of Cardiac, Pulmonary, Vascular, and Medical Exercise program participants.   The Clinical Exercise Physiologist ensures that the mission of Mid Coast–Parkview is central by excellent providing health promotion and education services to patients. Coordinates class sessions, schedule and coverage.   This position requires a level of collaboration with departmental and allied colleagues, including being a subject matter expert for ongoing consultation, teaching, and program development.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

• Current CPR and ACLS certification required.
• Previous experience in Cardiac Rehab with a broad knowledge of cardiac therapy required.
• ASCM, NASM, AACVPR Certification required.
• BS in Exercise Science, Exercise Physiology, or Kinesiology required.   Master’s degree preferred.
