We are looking for a positive, self-motivated, and self-accountable Mortgage Loan Assistant who will provide high end customer service throughout the entire mortgage process, from application to closing. Duties will include but are not limited to, serving as a liaison to our borrowers, Mortgage Loan Originators and Underwriters; as well as maintaining deadlines, working with third parties, and ensuring files are complete and accurate. This position can be based in any of our office locations.

The ideal candidate will also have good computers skills and familiarity with Freddie Mac, NHHFA, VHFA, Rural Development, VA, and FHA programs and policies. Knowledge of the mortgage process including origination, processing, underwriting, pricing and loan servicing is preferred along with comfort using PC based business software and mortgage loan origination systems. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence are a must!
