• Position Summary

  • The remote Sharepoint Developer, reporting to the Sr. Product Development Manager, will help to architect, build and evolve MaineHealth’s intranet system. The SharePoint Developer will create customized SharePoint solutions for MaineHealth. The role is responsible for configuring and customizing SharePoint systems according to company specifications, building scalable web applications, writing and modifying code, debugging software, and training staff.

• Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering preferred.

  • License/Certifications: MOSS or WSS certification a plus

  • Experience: Previous experience, 3+ years, as a SharePoint Developer.

  • Extensive knowledge of SharePoint and MS Office software, proficiency with front-end programming languages, and the ability to solve complex software issues Extensive knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, MVC and .NET Frameworks.

  • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services.

  • API integration

  • High-level coding skills.

  • Experience in building bespoke solutions in SharePoint

  • Experience gathering requirements from end users

  • Experience within workflow development

  • Ability to solve complex software issues.

  • Ability to project manage.

  • Detail orientated.

  • Self motivated.
