The HCCN Program Coordinator is part of an innovative and growing department at MPCA, supporting the improvement of clinical processes and patient outcomes through implementation of health information technology (HIT). The HCCN Program Coordinator collaborates with various stakeholders to optimize clinical practice and improve quality performance by providing training and technical assistance to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).
MPCA leads the Community Health Center Network of Maine (CHCNet) which supports FQHCs' use of health IT and integrated data to provide high-quality care to patients. The HCCN Program Coordinator will facilitate technical assistance, face-to-face trainings, webinars, dissemination of resources and peer-to-peer connections to support FQHCs’ priorities and goals.

MPCA’s CHCNet provides training and technical assistance to health center administrative staff on a range of care topics. For this role, we are seeking someone with experience with primary care operations, specifically in the following areas:
- Quality Improvement
- Health Information Technology
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with MPCA leadership, health center stakeholders, and various third-party strategic partners to ensure high-quality and efficient systems and services
- In collaboration with the HCCN Program Manager, plan and implement a data governance structure and processes to effectively gather, analyze, interpret, and visualize data
- Audit and maintain data in various health IT platforms EHR, Excel and MS Power BI
- Collaborate with the HCCN Program Manager to prepare project reports and regular status updates and maintain project records and statistical information
- Support administration of program grants and deliverables including planning project activities, coordinating project implementation, setting and tracking deadlines, reporting activities, and convening the stakeholders needed to ensure that project deliverables meet all requirements and expectations
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skill Required
- Master’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (Statistics, Public Health, Nursing, Health Care Administration) with 5 years of relevant work experience equivalent
- Knowledge of several subject matters of focus: Quality Improvement, Statistical Analysis, Data Visualization, Health Information Technology platforms
- Proven experience with project management
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Experience in or with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) preferred
