Hospice of Southern Maine is seeking a full time Hospice Aide (CNA) to provide direct hospice care to home hospice patients in their place of residence. Works within the scope of practice for HA under the supervision of the registered nurse. Follows the HA Plan of Care to deliver quality patient care, including: bathing; dressing/grooming; skin care; assistance with elimination, nutritional needs, mobility; and homemaking.

Requirements
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalency. Registered with the Maine State CNA Registry; must be active and in good standing. HA certification required to perform duties. Active BLS certification or the ability to obtain within the first 90 days of employment. Must have a valid driver's license with an automobile that is insured in accordance with state and/or agency requirements and is in good working order.
