Aspire Behavioral Health & Counseling, is seeking employees to work as Community Support Workers (CSW's). The CSW will serve children and families in both the home and community setting. Will provide one-on-one support and assistance with individual client treatment plan, by teaching functional life skills such as self-care and hygiene, safety awareness, basic meal preparation, fine and gross motor, communication, and social and relationship development.

Flexible, part-time or per diem work schedule - determined by you and your client - primarily afternoons and weekends.

Requirements

Ideal candidate will have excellent boundaries and professionalism; relate to client and family with compassion; great verbal communication skills; and good writing skills for documenting client treatment activities.

One or more years of experience working with children who have special or behavioral health needs is preferred. Must have a valid Maine Driver's license, reliable transportation, and current automobile liability insurance. Must possess a good driving record and pass a criminal background check.

Education: High School diploma/GED required.

BHP (Behavioral Health Professional) - certified applicants are preferred, but not required. Note: entry-level candidates who do not have current certification are required to complete a training program to become certified (web-based course is available).
