POSITION: Family Nurse Practitioner

LOCATION: Lincoln, Maine

STATUS: Full-time

EXEMPT/NON-EXEMPT: Exempt

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours/week

SUMMARY: Responsible for providing acute and chronic care to patients in the primary care setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

• Performs assessment of patient care needs in a primary care setting
• Provides direct patient care within the scope of knowledge and training
• Arranges for or refers patients to needed services
• Assures that patient health records are maintained with concise, legible, and pertinent documentation
• Participates in after-hours telephonic call
• Perform tasks, as requested by supervising physician and Medical Director

QUALIFICATIONS:

• State of Maine FNP license
• Current DEA license
• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience working in a primary care, walk-in/urgent care, and/or emergency medicine setting
