Your Role: FMI is seeking a reliable and motivated Facilities Maintenance Mechanic. This role will perform preventative and corrective maintenance including testing, inspections, service, repair, adjustments, and overhaul of equipment & tools on a daily/weekly/monthly schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and address daily maintenance issues as scheduled;
• Perform routine and scheduled maintenance according operational specifications and tolerances.
• Gain understanding of processes; and assist in the operation of process equipment, hydraulics, graph coils, high pressure vessels etc;
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and tools on set schedules,
• Repair, rework, & calibrate hydraulic & pneumatic assemblies & systems to meet operational specifications & tolerances;
• Assist with Electrical maintenance and repair work;
• Respond to building emergencies; work with production operators;
• Emphasis on working safely and ensuring equipment and buildings are safe. Maintain good housekeeping;
• Must be capable of following all safety practices for handling materials and operating processes;
• Supports, cooperates with, and participates in company-wide Lean improvement initiatives;
• Participate in daily maintenance crossover meetings to prioritize and assign work;
• Required to be on-call after hours on a rotating schedule to cover nights and weekends
