- Proficient in assigned welding techniques
- Interpretation of mechanical drawings, including welding symbols
- Knowledge of filler materials applications for various steel alloys, aluminum, and some exotic materials
- Working knowledge of welding equipment and processes
- Follow specified layouts, work orders, or blueprints
- Process inspection, certification, and documentation
- Finish grinding applications using manual and power tools
- Safety and Housekeeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience in various forms of welding
- Vocational, technical or trade school training a plus
