Scope of Position:

In this role, you will provide technical support to the molding and assembly areas. Role will focus on troubleshooting of production processes and process control and discipline.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Molding Engineering Department.
  • Provide guidance to Technicians on all shifts to develop root cause investigation techniques.
  • Process troubleshooting on existing products.
  • Provide production departments with technical support to make continuous and step change improvements.
  • Leverage knowledge and experience in manufacturing environment to provide improvements.
  • Support process control and process discipline.
  • Support the creation and maintaining of troubleshooting guides.
  • Preparing and completing engineering change orders.

Travel Requirements:

  • Negligible.

Hours of work/work schedule/flex-time:

  • Monday – Friday, first shift, but we need your flexibility to support off hours as needed.

Requirements

Required Education:

  • Associated degree required.

Required Years and Area of Experience:

  • Minimum of 3+ years’ injection molding experience within a manufacturing environment.

Required Skills:

  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Technical writing experience, including GMP requirements
  • Strong computer skills; proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Desired Experience / Qualifications / Skills:

  • Knowledge of Life Sciences products and technologies.
  • Six Sigma/LEAN/Performance Excellence manufacturing training.
