Our Hospice House has a 24 hour position for a Night Hospice Aide, CNA.Primary Purpose of Hospice House:The Hospice House is a home-like environment where care is provided to hospice patients who are not able to remain in their previous setting.

Purpose of Position:Carries out duties assigned by nurse in order to increase the level of patient comfort, to maintain good personal hygiene and a safe environment, in accordance with the hospice interdisciplinary plan of care, and policies and procedures.

Education**:  **High school diploma or equivalent; CNA certificate from a program which meets current state of Maine requirements.

Experience: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year recent (within 24 months) C.N.A. experience in a hospital or nursing home facility required.

Licensure and Certification**:  **Current CNA certification in the State of Maine (active on the State of Maine CNA Registry); current CPR certification; certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing Assistant preferred.

Hours of Work: 2, 12 hour night shifts each week. 7:15 pm - 7:45 am.
